- Read the MyAcademicID technical documentation available on this website.
- Verify if your institution is participating in eduGAIN; if not, check whether this is an option for your institution and get in touch with your National Research and Education Network (NREN). https://technical.edugain.org/status
- Liaise with your IT department to make sure that your university can a) support the deployment of the European Student Identifier (ESI) in your local information systems and b) release the relevant student attributes through eduGAIN when students authenticate electronically:
- Name
- Surname
- Home organisation
- ESI
